Growing up in Hawkes Bay as kids, and leaving in their early teens, Hawkes Bay has always been calling brothers Dan & Nick back. So when the farm came on the market in 2011 they didn't hesitate in taking the plunge and buying their own slice of heaven in Central Hawkes Bay.
On arrival the farm was in need of some TLC, but had amazing bones with the unique vistas and beautiful pockets of indigenous native bush all throughout. With an abundance of native bird life including Tui, Morepork (Ruru), Native Wood Pigeon (Kereru), and the majestic Hawk, it has been a great project for the boys to sink their teeth into.
The Shearers Quarters was moved onto the farm in 2011 and remained somewhat of an eye sore on the landscape for a few years until the lads with the help of their mum (painting extraordinaire Robyn!) transformed it into the wonderful haven it now is, for everyone to enjoy.
The Musterers Hut is new to 2018 and is set amongst the beautiful native bush surrounding the polo field. It has the feeling of being in middle earth NZ, and has to be seen to be believed.
